What does Supplemental Educational Services (SES) mean for Parents?

The SES program gives low-income families the opportunity to choose free tutoring services for their children. The program offers families a chance to get their children the extra academic help and individual instruction they need.

How do I know if my child is eligible to receive free tutoring?

If your school district does not notify you if your child is eligible for SES, you should contact them directly. Generally, your child is eligible for SES if he or she:

Receives free or reduced-price lunch and
Attends an eligible Title I school.

Free tutoring is available in reading and math for qualified students
